The Branch Manager at our McClellan Branch is responsible for leading and managing the overall performance, operations, and staff of one to two branches. Their primary focus is to ensure that each branch maintains exceptional customer service, while also contributing to strategic bank initiatives, complying with banking regulations, and operates efficiently. 

This position will require some travel for training purposes.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development of branch staff, including training, coaching, and delivering performance evaluations.
  • Works with other Branch Managers across the region to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling. 
  • Maintains strong knowledge of bank products and services. 
  • Meets with customers to open deposit accounts and deepen customer relationships by recommending products and services. 
  • Responsible for uncovering customer needs and conducting referrals to other departments. 
  • Grows and develops customer relationships through outbound customer meetings, networking events, and joint calls. 
  • Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends changes to management to increase efficiency and provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensures the effective implementation of bank initiatives and programs across the branch and sets direction for staff by providing relevant information and establishing goals.
  • Assists CSRs with daily tasks as needed to ensure proper branch operations. 
  • Performs other projects and initiatives, as requested, contributing to the continued improvement of overall company performance

Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years banking experience, or college degree in related field
  • 2 years leadership experience including supervising, training, and mentoring employees
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills 
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business related degree
