We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to work with our growing team! As a Credit Analyst you will evaluate the risk of commercial loans by analyzing and preparing presentations for Officers, Loan Committee, and Board of Directors meetings. This position requires working in-person at our Marquette office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recording and tracking of Business Banking client financial statements.
  • Input and review financial statement data.
  • Assist with various business credit underwriting functions such as:
    • Preparation of credit presentations/reviews
    • Financial, collateral, borrower, and industry analysis
    • Appraisal reviews and internal real estate evaluations
    • Identification of exceptions to loan policy
    • Borrower and loan grading
  • Business Banker and Portfolio Manager support
  • Monthly loan portfolio reporting, including Problem Loan Reporting.
  • Creation of and maintenance of reports for Business Banking on an as needed basis. 
  • Adheres to Range Bank policies and procedures.
  • Upholds the highest level of confidentiality and cyber security awareness.

Minimum Requirements 

  • College degree in finance, accounting or a related field OR equivalent experience in a comparable position
  • 1-2 years experience as a Credit Analyst or similar experience
  • Exceptional customer service/interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in current technology and Microsoft Office.
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties without specific direction, given adequate guidelines.  Apply good judgment in decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the banking industry
  • Some college education or degree in a related field
